Mostly just little odds and ends which seem to be everywhere. I'm trying to pile most of them up on the kitchen counter, so we can get to them later and they won't get in the way of the movers. I think I'm mainly freaked that TCG isn't home yet. I expected his meeting would end by eight and he would be able to pile some of the extra stuff in the car for me. I have no idea why he's not home yet.
Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
they took our bid. I know it was the ~ma. ::squee::
I hope he gets home soon, sj, and that the remainder of the packing and moving goes smoothly.
I finally gave up and went to the doctor today. I don't think I've ever gotten as many samples at a doctor's office before. Fortunately, they included codeine syrup.
How are you, AmyLiz? Any improvement yet?
Yeah Sox!!!!!
Yay, Sox! So happy for you and the family! (And for me, with the promise of a cool sort-of neighbor in the near future.)
How are you, AmyLiz? Any improvement yet?
Not a bit. I should have called the doctor today myself, but I hate to take an antibiotic unless I'm convinced it's an infection, and I don't have a fever. Not a sure indicator, I know, but it's my rule of thumb. My head feels like an overripe melon.
I am also way jealous of your codeine.
Ugh. Illness makes me stupid. I'm so sorry about the packing/moving panic, sj. I wish I could help.
::hugs sj in a germ-free way::
Yay, Sox! House!!
Yay codeine, libkitty! Boo sick!
It is too early in the evening to be this drunk.
Nonsense. ::passes Fernet::
... What? Somebody's got to drink it, and it won't be me.
sj, little odds and ends left aren't so bad. I am a professional last-minute-frantic-packer. I always get to the point of just scooping up the piles of stuff and dumping it randomly in boxes and big garbage bags. Cushion any fragiles with towels and clothing from the laundry. Anything that might spill, throw it out. Anything easily replaced, throw it out. Sleeping cats? Excellent packing material.
Yay, Sox! Congratulations!
{{{AmyLiz}}} Feel better.

Bwah!
Sorry you're still sick, AmyLiz. Feel better~ma.
Bedtime for me. G'night, Bitches.
Yeah, the doc gave me antibiotics after saying he didn't think I needed them. I didn't think I needed them either, so I'm going to wait to start them unless it looks like they might actually be useful. No waiting on the codeine though. Medicine of the gods. I hope it helps more than just symptoms, as I really need to get back to work.
Feel better, AmyLiz.
