This is so nice. Having everyone together for my birthday. Of course, you could smash in all my toes with a hammer and it will still be the bestest Buffy Birthday Bash in a big long while.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We've got an elimination playoff game today and we've got no pitching. Well, that's not entirely true but we probably don't have enough pitching to finish the game. It's going to be interesting.

Isn't this the point where you send the water boy in and suddenly discover that he's an amazing pitcher? Or maybe send in that wacky pet monkey that's been responsible for all those hijinks? Or maybe this is the time for a player to be bitten by a radioactive Sandy Koufax?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

You want to know what's a weird (yet amusing) experience?

Going to the Pride festivities and having countless drag queens and pretty gay boys tell your boyfriend, "Oh my god! I LOVE YOUR BOOTS!!!"

I was wearing a long skirt and white shirt, and your basic sandals.

The Boy wore (all black, of course): very slim-fitting leather pants, a lycra tank top (that managed to NOT make him look like a rent boy), a leather waist-cincher corset with many silver buckles, and knee-high boots that lace all the way up, with 5-inch stiletto heels.

I truly could not have looked *more* vanilla next to him if I tried. Which is amusing as HELL.

(And damn, but he was smoking HOTT.)

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Steph - that description calls out for a pic.

I'm home. I'm exhausted. My body hates me. I had so much fun the last couple of days, visiting with Buffistas. And I have to confess, I have no photographic evidence. I did have a camera with me...but I never pulled it out. Was too engrosed in the visiting.

Heh. If I'd had my camera, I damn well would have taken a picture. Though it might have melted the camera, it was so HOTT.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Teppy, that totally cries out for phtographic documentation.

Way back when, when more of my friends tended to be alternatively dressed, I always got a big kick out of meeting up with them wearing a conservative skirt and shoes. We got more double-takes and odd looks that way, I think, than if we had all been flaunting the norm.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Steph is boasting about her boy ...awww.

kristin's hair- amazing

I left Matt somewhere downtown. He had things to do, which might have been fun except then I would have had to wait until this evening to get in the garden. If my folks had a grave they'd be rolling in it - as it is they are just laughing at me. I hated working in the garden as a kid.

Well, after watching the bad movie last night, I got up and went to Pride. It started at 11AM (!!) this year, and some friends were performing at 12:10, so I figured I'd aim to get there at 12, and it was unlikely they'd go on on time anyway.

At 12:05, I'm heading down the block towards the stage, and I hear their music. They went on EARLY!! What kind of gay event WAS this?? I'm still stunned. Sadly, I ended up missing their entire performance. OTOH, the people I really wanted to see weren't there.

And then I saw various people that all asked where K was, and I had to say we broke up. BOO.

And then I felt like a stalker, because I knew she was working in the beer tent, so I *had* to walk past from a distance and look at her while she couldn't see me. I feel pathetic. No, wait, I AM pathetic. And yet, I'm not managing to care enough about that to stop being pathetic...

Now to change (I'm currently wearing a pink muscle tee that says "GENDERFUK" in black letters) and go to a friend's graduation party.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

There are so many great links in this week's B3TA newsletter that I wanted to post so I'm linking to the whole thing. I especially loved the Wet Cats, Real-Life Transformers, and Flagpole Sitta lip sync.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've been gardening today. Cleared a bunch of weeds. Later on, going to plant some flowers, I think. (This is my mom's garden. I'm the free labor for this weekend.)

My sister got to go watch the Tony Awards dress rehearsal this morning. So jealous.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Bushwacked the front yard. Tired now. Still have about half the bagging up still to do, but it will have to wait.
