Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I can't imagine leaving my dog outside at night. Who would be my 2 foot space heater? Luckily my Nick is not a barker unless DH or I seem hurt. He's a real scaredy cat when it comes to other dogs, too. He'll cower under my feet rather than play. Silly boy.

Amy, I second talking to them about the dogs and finding out about the noise/animal laws in the area. Sometimes people just hear the barking so much they become ammune to the sound and when reminded might do something like the No-Bark collar or something. (I have a problem with believing everyone is good until they burn me, I know, like I said problem.)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

It just bothers me that the dogs are left outside all day and ALL NIGHT. Seriously. The owners work all day, and then they come home and essentially ignore them. Why do they even have dogs? Of course, the dogs wouldn't be barking at three or four a.m. if they were inside.

I understand that. I feel very bad for the dog upstairs from us. He cries and barks until someone comes home. They got a dog and didn't bother to spend any time with it at all or find any way to see that it wasn't so upset when they are gone.

Compassionately intolerant

Sparky! Please tell your DH that I had supper this evening with the ultimate player we discussed last night and said player said nice things about DH.

The world...she is small.

PS: It was great to see everyone last night...the food was nice but the company was stellar.

Thankfully, Toddson and I waited just long enough that I ended up making it to the Metro fairly dry. Whooo that was a doozy of a storm. Perfect punctuation for a Buffista evening.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I have managed to fix three of the four keys on my laptop keyboard. I can't fix the "Q" until I purchase the plastic key retrainer bit on ebay. But I will fix it myself and cancel the $300 repairs with HP. At least until the keys stop working.

That's a delicate bit of work--I used the tiniest screwdriver I could find and some tweezers.
