Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Because books.

Sox, I used to live outside of Philly, and will be moving back there soonish -- later this summer, fingers crossed. Not to Philadelphia proper, but to West Chester, which southwest of the city, but not far. We could be *almost* neighbors!

Thrive to spite them

My first day at the gym didn't quite go as planned.

The personal trainer just never showed up for work. But I decided to at least get on a treadmill and a lady with a personal trainer got on the one beside me and we ended up talking and so now that trainer is going to be mine. I'll see her on Wednesday for an evaluation and then Thursday for a work out.

She was sweet and funny and the woman she's working with (who was larger than me) had lost 40 lbs since Jan. with her help so it was a good recommendation.

Now it's almost hockey time! Go Ducks! (except for Pronger, boo Pronger).

Not sure yet. We'd like to be in the borough, but we'll be renting, not buying, so it's going to depend on what's available where. We could be out toward Dowingtown or Coatsville, too, but that's only twenty or so minutes further out.

Where in Philly are you looking? (Says she who lived in Bucks County for eight years but doesn't actually know the city very well, aside from UPenn and the hospital, and Old City.)

Sox, I figured out our scanner: see if you recognize these men: [link]

For the curious, Sox's father is the young'n second from the left, and my father is on the far right.

Aw! And I'll be that much closer to D.C.!

Amyliz - West Chester is really close to where my father grew up!

Where? I was actually born in Wilmington (DE) and lived for years in Newark (DE) before moving to NJ, but we have lots of relatives in that area, which was why my parents moved to West Chester ... wow, twenty years ago now. I really like the area.

Erin, funnel cake makes up for so many things. YUM.

It was!!! I haven't had it in years, which made up for the fact that a funnel cake and medium lemonade was $9.73!!!!!
