Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

No "s" word for vw. You've had a full day. (I wish I forgot eating more often!)

Oh my Daniel. I don't even have a big kitten thing, but those are too cute.

I'm happy to hear the bride and groom were adorable. They are the main event after all. (much better than shaking your head saying "why oh why" when you describe the newlyweds)

eta: I'm sorry about your aunt, sj. So tough.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

TCG did get to at least meet everyone, which was nice.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

We've had a very productive day. I wrote my ethics paper (yay!), sorted 6 boxes of comics that were donated to my juvie kids, and helped GF set up our new receiver (oy). Now we relax with some cocktails.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Ugh, I'm sorry sj. Shame on them, especially if they're Italian.

I want GC's day, but minus the paper. Instead I get family drama between my father and sister. Didn't anyone ever tell him it's bad form to bring up not-so-DexH in the middle of a work argument?

Why yes, I'm helping out at the restaurant again this weekend. The new guy we hired quit after a week and a half. Thank god we have a bar. I'm gonna need it.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

That's really rough, sj. I hope it progresses slowly.

Well, it took me longer than two hours, vw, but I'm glad to hear that things worked out well in the end. And ice cream. Yummy.

My big complaint of the day? I went to one of my favorite restaurants for brunch, all by myself, as a reward for going in to work when I really didn't have to, but not staying too long. I had wonderful whole grain pancakes with apples and ground pecans (teh yum!) and bacon on the side, because one wouldn't want to be too healthy. And really, I'm coming to the complaint. The bacon was cooked perfectly: crispy, but not scorched. But it had almost no flavor. It was actually kind of freaky, in a diamond-shoes-are-too-tight sort of way.

vw, I'm glad you can laugh about it. Hooray for working technology!

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Graduation was very nice today. Sad and wonderful as graduations often are.

I came home and crashed for three hours, and I am supposed to be grading now. Donwanna. Also? My kitchen smells. This is how much it needs cleaning. So did I clean it? No. I lit candles instead.

move out and draw fire

Day from hell yesterday.

Put in another application for a rental house. I feel good about this one, but you know? At some point in life I thought I'd make enough money and be respectable enough to not get turned down for rentals.

ION, this vid of women in art is tres cool: [link]

Our wings are not tired.

I would totally rent to you Raq, if I were wealthy enough to own real estate in that area that is.

That video was fabulous. Nice that some people have that kind of time. Wow.
