Robin, in your DH's newsletter he mentioned his "wife" and I was pointing at my laptop saying I know her!
Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
You know her AND she loves you!
It was a cute reference and made me think of him like a big old teddy bear like my DH.
mera may you trip over lots of beautiful women that are falling over because they see you today. Box up the presents, decide what to do with them later.
I'm hoping a slow weekend will help Emmett recover.
and in news here - we are not allowed to sleep in. 830 is a late start on a weekend for us. today at 10 the phone(s) started ringing and the doorbell rang. So I am showered and our neighbor is cutting Matt's hair.
I have two warring pet peeves today. I hate constant vibratey noises and I hate cabinets that are ajar. We have a cabinet that (I think because of the air conditioner) makes a constant vibratey noise unless you leave the door ajar. For the moment I have fixed it by sticking a roll of puffy tape between the cabinet door and its closure. Still it's a wee bit ajar and now there's a roll of puffy tape mocking me.
I have the problem of I know I'd be much happier (see: control freakness) if my apartment were cleaned and put away and so on. Right now it's quite a mess. However, knowing it'll make me happy does not make me want to DO it, somehow...
I have that problem every day. Once my sister and I solved the problem with amphetamines but I only recommend that as an occasional solution.
I am in the same situation right now, meara. Eventually I'll break down and hire someone.
Will I want to be here while they're working, or go hide somewhere?
I prefer to be elsewhere when someone else is cleaning my house. I have used people often in the past, but the past few months I have been too busy to get the house into a condition that anyone could clean it. They always say it doesn't matter, but even though every surface is covered with stuff I kinda know where my stuff is at. If it gets moved about to clean the surface I will never find anything again.
It also makes me a little crazy that other people don't get my logic about where things belong. Really, one cabinet has metal pans and another has plastic containers. Is that so hard to follow? Apparently.

Oh, yes! I spent 10 minutes putting things back in their proper place after the cleaners left the other day.
