Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I had skating class at 7:30 am, which was (once I hauled my ass out of bed) a great way to start the weekend. Soon I am off to get my hair colored and cut. I am trying the place Kristen recommended to Kat, because I can actually walk there from home. I may go back to the brilliant Erika because she's so awesome, but could opt for the closer to home option if I like this new person, because walking to the salon is sweet.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

What kind of skating?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Robin's a roller skating fiend.

Roller skating on old fashioned four-wheel shoe skates (or "quad skates" as they are called in the skating world). I skate three times a week at rink in Glendale called Moonlight Rollerway. Very retro and fun.

ooh that does sound like fun. I miss my ice skates. I'm sad that I can never go back to Skate on State.

Mostly lurking...

Ok. I've ordered my monitor, keyboard, and mouse. I'm waiting for Best Buy to e-mail me and let me know they're ready so I can reserve a zipcar and go pick them up (thank goodness we just got zipcars in my neighborhood! It's actually feasible for me to make this little trip in an hour).

Now to decide if I should buy an office chair while I'm vomiting money.

Our wings are not tired.

Robin, in your DH's newsletter he mentioned his "wife" and I was pointing at my laptop saying I know her!

You know her AND she loves you!

Our wings are not tired.

It was a cute reference and made me think of him like a big old teddy bear like my DH.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

mera may you trip over lots of beautiful women that are falling over because they see you today. Box up the presents, decide what to do with them later.

I'm hoping a slow weekend will help Emmett recover.

and in news here - we are not allowed to sleep in. 830 is a late start on a weekend for us. today at 10 the phone(s) started ringing and the doorbell rang. So I am showered and our neighbor is cutting Matt's hair.
