I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Jordin's not from Seattle, but that's where she tried out.

could Randy be more obvious about the fact that he wants a black woman to win? gah! he irritates me.

Top Chef:

I think I'll miss the kitchen walk-through, but I love the blind judging. That could get very interesting.

I think that the audience will get a walk-through and that the audience will know who made what - just that the judges won't know.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I just watched my tape of AI and I think Jordin kicked ass in the singing department. but the thing I like best about her is the way she makes Ryan Seacrest look like a hobbit next to her.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Yeah, but one of the best parts about the walk-through is the comments and the eye-rolly looks Chef Tom Colicchio would give.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

They should keep the walk-through, but have Lee-Anne do it, since she's basically filling the mentor role anyway.

Damn, it looks like Maverick is not on Deadliest Catch for the Opilio season.

American Idol: For the #1 show on TV, I've always thought AI has some crap camerawork. Are they trying to pick the worst possible camera angles for Kelly's performance?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just want to tell Kelly that she should wear more cute dresses like that, and fewer low-slung pants with belly shirts. AND fewer caftans, for that matter.

OK. Jordin and I have about the same exact frame. And dresses like this white one? Don't work for either one of us. They make her look bigger than she is because they just hang.

I just want to tell Kelly that she should wear more cute dresses like that, and fewer low-slung pants with belly shirts.

Oh I hate those outfits in her last two videos.

And am I alone in finding the "bad singers" aspect of AI played out by the second week of tryouts, much less dragged back out in the finale?
