Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And I'm bummed out that D&O are out, but they lost legitimately -- they really fucked up over the last couple of legs.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Mirna uses those accents on purpose so people will understand her???

I almost fell off my couch when she said that. HA!

Oh, Danny and Oswald. It is one thing to deprive me of the pleasure of you on television in the finale, but quite another to say that Charla and Mirna are a class act. I can maybe buy Charla but not Mirna.

I had a horrible thought that it was reality tv foreshadowing!!!!!

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, I can't believe that she really thinks that the key to good communication is the right fake accent!

I am totally rooting for the blondies.

Danny and Oswald: I can't believe that they think Charla and Mirna are a class act!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Mirna uses those accents on purpose so people will understand her???

I was SO rooting for her to forget her seatbelt during the food drop. But, alas, no luck.

Poor Team Cha Cha Cha -- they looked so tired at the end there. I'm sorry to see them go, and not just because it means Charla and Mirna (ptooi!) might actually win this one. They can't beat either of the other 2 teams in a footrace, but they are much much better at airports than Eric & Danielle.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

TAR: Awww, Cha Cha Cha! But I knew it was coming. They were just too far behind to be able to get a half hour advantage on anyone.

I don't like anyone left. I guess I'll go for the beauty queens by default, but my heart's not in it.

So during my bouts with insomnia, I've been watching the Season 2 race on GSN, and I love that season Danny & Oswald. What happened to their strategy of going to the top hotels and asking the concierges for directions? It was so funny during that one to see them going shopping; Gucci, all that stuff, and then end up with a Mercedes ride to the airport. Meanwhile the other teams are all tired and miserable and cranky. But it was interesting to see that they had money issues that season, too, and didn't work it out this season.

Did it look like the final episode would be in Hawaii?

Art Crawl!!!

Yeah, the final episode looked very Hawaiian.

Our wings are not tired

There's a BBC series called Secrets of the Ancients / Secrets of Lost Empires that does exactly that. I wish I could remember if it ever aired in the States.

This does sound like it is right up my alley.

On the Mythbusters front this season feels like a lot of the episodes are rushed. I really enjoyed watching more of the details on the builds in the earlier episodes it felt like more of the episodes were spent on the builds. It also seems like they are almost intentionally setting themselves up to have to retest some of these in their re-visited episodes.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

TAR: Goodbye, Danny & Oswald! You ran a good game at least in the sense of having some class, wit, and out of the box thinking. If you'd been Yielded, you wouldn't have been crying that it was sooooo unfair.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just remembered that the blondies came in 4th last year, in similar circumstances -- they had the 30 minute penalty, but legitimately came in last in the leg. That seems somehow fair to me -- they didn't get screwed because of their performance in the previous leg, just the current one.

I like the BQs. They're good natured and race well (except when they do the eyerolly things like miss the detour or forget the gps thingie). They're fun to watch.
