Re: Notes from the Underbelly, I just can't figure out how they'll milk the premise (ewwww, I didn't mean to go there) after the first season.
Experimental TV: Comedy
This thread is part of an experiment to determine Buffistas' interest in television discussion. It will close on June 1st, 2007, after which there will be a brief skirmish to sort out what we want to do next. This thread is for discussion of all comedy, regardless of airing station. [NAFDA]
The NY Times basically said it'll make you want to kill yourself.
But they don't seem to like anything these days.
(Are reviews spoilers? I don't even know anymore!?!)
It's a re-run, this week? Feh. You're right. They do hold up, but still. Feh.
Re: Notes from the Underbelly
I've seen the promos so many times, and yet have not been tempted to watch.
I don't know as I am watching any comedy, except TDS! Guess I better try The Office. Most comedy shows bug me in under 3 episodes.
I had Notes from the Underbelly on last week while i multi-tasked and it annoyed me even if i was distracted by other things. it's bad. don't bother.
is The Office new? i was thinking it was a repeat for some reason.
lisah said it's a re-run, tiggy. I haven't checked on my own.
30 Rock and Scrubs are new, but no new Office, unless they're doing a newpeat, which I haven't heard anything about.
except TDS!
Can we talk about Daily Show and Colbert in here? (I don't think it fits in reality/documentary, really...)
I think this is the first time ever I don't watch any comedies. Unless you count reruns of Friends and Sex and the City.
I keep wanting to try The Office, but it's been on so long, and I'm too lazy to catch up on who's who and all that.
I think TDS/TCB would be more non-fiction, Aileann. But I'd be happy discussing it in either place.
AmyLiz, The Office first season is a really accessible 12-13 episodes.
