My tape totally cut off about mid-way through. What happened at the end?

After that really touching moment in the parking lot between JD and Elliot, they all went back to Elliot's house. The boytoy was supposed to be on a trip with his friends, but he was there when they got back; and it turned out that he had been seeing Elliot's dad to ask his permission to marry her. So he got down on one need and popped the ring out, Elliot looked stunned and happy, and JD bounded in media res with Keri Russell on his back.
Thanks, SA!
I love The Office. Really.
lisah, my awakeness cut off, about halfway through.
Kevin, are you all caught up on season 3, now?
I finally watched all of 30 Rock, and Scrubs.
If Alec Baldwin does leave 30 Rock, or the country, or whatever, I think they could make the show with Elaine Stritch, instead. She's wonderful. I'm glad Phoebe is gone. The character didn't work for me.
The break-up was sad, but comedically sad. I think they shouldn't have written him out so quickly, but it definitely had that patina of frustration that long-distance relationships can accrue so fast. "Can we talk about something other than work?" that lead into the weather was just so sad, but also so true.
Yes.
Scrubs was sweet. I also enjoyed Turk, Carla and Kelso having one over on Cox. I have a complaint about this season (and maybe last, I can't remember), though. Too much of the stuff that used to be clearly portrayed as happening in JD's head, now seems to actually happen to other characters, too. In this instance, it was the whatever-that-was with Elliot and the Keri Russell character, when they first ran into each other -- and squeed up a wind tunnel. Also, I wanted to see Carla do something about the Janitor ghosting pediatrics.
If Alec Baldwin does leave 30 Rock, or the country, or whateve
Sorry, I'm down on my celeb gossip--is that really a possibility? Because of that voicemail message or whatever?
something about the Janitor ghosting pediatrics.
oh, that was hilarious! in a horrific amusement way!
I liked the recent Scrubs where we got into the heads of the other characters, FWIW.
I think she means that the stuff that's supposed to be JD's fantasy, like the wind tunnel, seem to actually be happening instead of just in his head. There's not that clean break as there always used to be.
I liked the focus on the secondary/tertiary characters too.

Well, I don't know. I know he's saying he wants to leave. NBC is saying, "No." It's been reported various places, and P-C mentioned it here: Polter-Cow "Experimental TV: Comedy" Apr 26, 2007 5:31:06 pm PDT

Yes, that's what I meant. It didn't just seem like JD's fantasy-JD and Turk were experiencing the wind tunnel, but that actual JD Turk were. It's happened a lot this season (and maybe last).

Me, too.
