A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Gwen snogged the chick who was possessed by the alien, but I think that's as far as she got.
Owen's had sex with men and women, when he dosed the girl in the bar with the alient pheromones her boyfriend started after them so Owen dosed the boyfriend as well and had sex with both of them.
And evidently, in the Torchwood world heteronormativity not such a big concept. Is anyone in that office not at least bi? Owen?
Given the couple he space-roofied in the first episode, I'd say that door swings both ways.
Yet another inevitable buffista x-post.
Gwen snogged the chick who was possessed by the alien.
I thought she more than snogged her. Also, I thought the alien did not so much possess the woman as wear her remains as a costume.
Yeah, that's right. So Gwen's as close as we get to straight in this show. Sexual confusion not actually too big an issue.
Gwen hasn't shown any inclination to make out with women who aren't putting out hyper-intense Do Me pheromones, so I'd say she's pretty straight. With wildly variant taste in men.
I just watched for first two Torchwood episodes last night. I'm now part of the fandom. Whoohoo. I may not be a cool kid, but at least I now know what the cool kids are talking about.
We watched the first Torchwood ep last night and enjoyed it. Capt. Jack is a hottie. Woman from
Rome
never lasts long in a show, does she? That one guy is a total rapist.
Are we supposed to infer that Cap'n Jack has real feelings for Gwen...or not.

Are you asking because of the first ep of the new series? My take is that
no, he doesn't have any specific feelings for Gwen. Jack wants everyone for himself, is all. He's selfish that way.
