A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
yeah, sumi, and I thought I knew who with, but the ads for next week confuse that idea.
Vortex, I thought he had made an acknowledgement in the second ep, something about his tone made me think his scope might be widening, and he didn't call the kids liars for stating what they saw or ridicule them.
Maybe he's not fully there at the "I believe in sentient robots from the future" stage, but I personally think he's at the "strange and unusual shit is going down that I can't explain" stage, and he's striking me as the type of guy who, just because it's not in his realm of experience or understanding, that he'd dismiss it.
I'd imagine it would take a firsthand experience to convert him, but meanwhile he's gathering all these little facts that he can't explain in his own world-terms, so maybe once he finally does come face to face with the truth, he won't be all "No! It's impossible!", it'll just be "it all makes sense now!".
Or maybe I like Ellison too much.
Did they? Hmmm. (I think I have an idea who it is too but the TWOP description kind of negates that idea.)
ION, watched Farscape Starburst collection 4.1 and even though I could swear that I saw all of season 4 - I have this feeling that I didn't see "Crichton Kicks" AND there is this oddity with the Previouslies - they have a scene with Grayza (sp?) and Braca that I don't remember seeing. I know that BSG does this sometimes - but I didn't remember Farscape doing that.
Now, I understand that the FBI guy's job is just to catch Sarah, but could he at least acknowledge that there's something weird going on?
Didn't he effectively do that in the pilot, when he recounted the story of the "teacher" with the robot leg?

Who knows - that may be why he's trying to find her (that is, he knows SOMETHING is up, but wants to know exactly what). I think all he said to Dean Winters was that his interest in the case wasn't in a missing girlfriend.
Or he may just be channeling Inspector Javert.
I thought he had acknowledged in the second ep, something about his tone made me think his scope might be widening.
Yeah, in the second EP, some weird fact related to Sarah came out, and an FBI dude asked him, "Do you know this woman?" or words to that effect, and he said, "Less and less."
I think the relationship between Sarah and FBI guy will end up like Angel and that cop lady....
After FBI guy interviewed the fiance, we saw terminator eyes reflected in a monitor screen. What was up with that?

Oh yeah, forgot about that. That confused me at the time, but I figured he must be a terminator. But at this point in the story that doesn't seem to make sense, does it?
Which episode are we on now? Cause I saw this one, and I saw the very first one, but I forgot that it was a Special Two Night Premiere and missed the intervening one. Is that the only one I missed, or was there one more?
Anyway, it makes me confused.
Last night was episode 3, right?
Yeah, last night was episode 3.
The first two episodes are up on Fox's website.
