Oh, wow. This place looks great. Oh, I feel like a witch in a magic shop.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

Our wings are not tired.

Completely off-topicy, I so totally love the SG-1 200 episode. It just keeps being funny.

Indeed

I want to watch the SCC 1st ep again before tonight's second half. Don't know when I am going to manage that. There were a couple things I wanted to see again.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

When the 13 include "Cyberwoman" and "Combat," watching them all may not be a sound policy.

Since my DVR tells Combat is one of the episodes, I'm not sure who's picking the "essential" eps.

When is the season 2 premiere on BBCA?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Remind my aging brain--what was the plot twist at the end?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The time jump forward to 2007.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, okay. In my head that was just erasing the weirdness at the beginning, because I was wondering how they were going to keep up such a small time differential between viewer time and show time, and why they'd want to. I was just relieved.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Uh, yeah, so those are not "essential" episodes so much as "the last seven episodes."

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor's mom or something.

Wait, she's not THAT old! She was born in 1956. To have a 15 year old grandson in 1999, she had to have had a daughter at like age 15, and for that daughter to have had her son at like age 15. Too much timeline-squishing!

(Also, I mean, Sarah Connor's mom was killed off in the first movie.)
