We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor's mom or something.

Wait, she's not THAT old! She was born in 1956. To have a 15 year old grandson in 1999, she had to have had a daughter at like age 15, and for that daughter to have had her son at like age 15. Too much timeline-squishing!

(Also, I mean, Sarah Connor's mom was killed off in the first movie.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just have to share this TWoP post in response to a question about why Owain Yeoman paused before shooting John Connor (the real reason being he needed to be hit by Cameron in a truck).

Bwah!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It was distracted by the little pop-up paper clip that said "It looks like you're trying to kill John Connor, do you want help with that?"

I always knew there was something shifty about Microsoft Help.

Anyone know what the ratings were for last night's Terminator?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Led by the prime-time portion of the Giants versus the Cowboys on the NFL Playoffs (which was beneficial to the series-premiere of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), Fox steamrolled past the Sunday competition. The NFL Playoffs averaged an approximate 28.7 rating/45 share in the overnights from 7-8 p.m., leading into the debut of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles at a hefty 12.1/18 from 8-9 p.m. Needless to say, Fox dominated from 7-9 p.m. Next was Family Guy at an above-average (and third-place) 7.2/10 in the overnights at 9 p.m., followed by American Dad at a 5.5/ 8 (#3) at 9:30 p.m. Since I like to always make reference to the potential fast affiliate results, Family Guy is expected to win the 9 p.m. half-hour among adults 18-49.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Yay!

If it weren't for the strike, I'd have been concerned about SCC going opposite Heroes today, but the strike might actually work *for* the show in this instance. There is precious few original programming on TV right now.

Oh, wow! Look at that! Good ratings! Maybe it has a chance.

T3 was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I've never seen it, and I'm guessing that's a good thing.

I was wondering how they were going to keep up such a small time differential between viewer time and show time, and why they'd want to. I was just relieved.

Ha! Me, too.

Yay for good ratings! I hope viewers were intrigued enough to tune back in tonight. I certainly am. I thought Summer was fab, and I like the character and look forward to finding out more about why she's so "different." I would OMG love any of the cameos mentioned above, except for, oddly, Linda Hamilton. I think that would be too weird for me since she's so iconically Sarah Connor. Man, I need to re-rent those DVDs.

Also, point of trivial interest, I have a friend who just got married and now her name is... Sarah Connor. I just... I'm a little jealous, I have to fess up.
