Fred: Oh my God! Angel, you're…cute! Angel: Fred, don't! Fred: Oh, but the little hands! And the hair! Angel: Hey! You're fired.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Well, if I could remember which Wednesday it would be so much more helpful.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I'll just check every Wednesday until it's not on any more.

Was that Jack in the past with Livia?

Ok, maybe not.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So what was the point of tying Tin Man to Oz? I get that she's not the first Dorothy Gale (but it took until the reveal of the tomb for me to realise it), so all that may still very well be canon and untouched, but still--why do it? Why shoehorn Tutor into Toto and the flying monkeys into her sister's tits?

Here's my bullshit rationalization: SciFi saw how cool re-imagining Battlestar Galactica turned out, so it is now green-lighting anything that is "re-imagined".

And the results vary

Clearly.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

They should have just had a Tinman/Glitch buddy mini-series, the flaky effeminate one and the overly butch closed-off guy bickering at each other for six hours while slowly falling in love.

As long as it stars Neal McDonnagh and Alan Cummings! That would rock!

Journeyman went to where I wasn't expecting again. I like that about it.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

from a review over on IMDB:

More than one generation has grown up on The Wizard of Oz and its variations, from the original book to the modern musical, Wicked. Tin Man is a different take than any I've seen before, but by no means does that make it bad. Fans of Joss Whedon's Firefly will probably enjoy this
The hell?

Art Crawl!!!

Okay, I'm glad that I'm not alone in thinking that Henry's profile greatly resemble's Jack's.

Is it possible - timewise that Livia could be Dan's grandmother? And just how weird is THAT???
