I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.
I loved seeing SG1 dying--some of my favourite impermanent deaths ever. They managed to make me root for each instance of the team.
Yeah, that contributed to the problem, unfortunately. SG-1 already did this, and they did it well. SGA, not so much.
I am very pleased that we only have to wait until January for new episodes, though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
Have watched it now, and...it didn't work for me as much. Somehow faux SG1 seemed more earnest and sincere and sadder to kill. Or broken and sadder to kill...like Tasha Yar in that TNG episode where the Enterprise C comes through that hole.
Two Ronons is way to distracting to be able to picture safely for any length of time. And I kinda wanted only one of the Teylas to be pregnant. Did both Ronons have the recent tattooing--the stuff he got when he was hanging with Dacascos?

I didn't get to watch all of SGA last night; I did think that Jewel did a good job of being replicatory. I want to rewatch to see what I assume is Elizabeth's swan song? That's a shame. I really liked her when they used her well, and I always liked her chemistry with Shep. Ah, well.
