Where'd they get CAT scan from?... I mean, did they test it on cats? Or does the machine sort of look like a cat?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Was this week's Torchwood "Captain Jack Harkness"?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

OMG, SA and I sat watching that episode and SQUEEELING like 12 year olds. Gah. The show is crackfic.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I didn't watch Torchwood cause I know I'll see it next week. But, it was hard to resist the temptation to stay up and watch the 11:00 showing.

I was kinda disapointed in Razor. I wanted to see the Pegasus crew as more fleshed out characters. It just seemed we were showing the incidents that were spoken of on Galactica, but without any real insight to how they happened.

It was interesting that Gina was Cain's lover. That does account for the hatred Cain had for her. But Cain's character still had no depth. She just seemed scary without any inner conflict.

And I thought the final reveal about Kara's left me feeling like we took a long way getting there and it wasn't really a surprise.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

You know what I really, really loved? All the fire rushing in to fill the space left by the Pegasus after it jumped.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

quester, I generally concur with your assessment of razor. I think you articulated a lot of things that disappointed me when I watched it. I'm not quite sure what I was expecting when I watched it earlier with Beau, but we were both disappointed. I think I expected to see more depth of character of Cain and others on the ship before they met up with Galactica.

Yeah, didn't we already know about most everything we saw? They'd already told us about all the stuff that happened on Pegasus, right?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Beau said that he had the sneaking suspicion that half of "Razor" was extras from the Pegasus episodes that they decided to cobble together with an additional plot.

I think this is much more negative and cynical than my take, but I can kind of see where he is coming from.

Huh, Beau could be right.

I'll wait until I've seen the "extended" version on the DVD.

Trust my rage

I finally watched Razor last night. I also failed to recognize Gina, other than a "hey, she seems familiar" sort of way.

I really liked seeing Lee and Kara together before things got so weird between them and I didn't miss Baltar at all. (Sorry, P-C.)

Having said that, I thought the Cain/Gina thing helped explain why Gina was treated so poorly, but I was very bothered by how far Cain was willing to go (massacre, shooting XO, etc.) There's a difference between hardcore and psycho.

I kept waiting for Baltar to show up and he never did! Boo.
