Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Daniel may not have been able to fight, but I do not recall him habitually panicking, let alone giving their position away by screaming.

No. He probably would have stood up and tried to bargain with the natives.

I mean, did Daniel carry a gun at the beginning of SG-1?

He carried weapons almost from the get-go, IIRC, but his competence, and more to the point comfortability, came later. It took a couple of seasons for "omg they're shooting at me, oh wait, I have a gun too!" to turn into actual tactics and ability with a firearm.

and then Baltar actually shot Crashdown. Because he's a doer.

This just made me laugh and laugh.

I think my first thought on Keller's mission was... ok, so we're going to see the Athosians. We don't even bring one Marine? I know we're at peace with them and all that, but... they're clearly not living on the original Lantean mainland (did they move at some point and I forgot?), but on another planet with a Stargate, and therefore not under the protection of SGA, so... why not take a little precaution against the possibility that one of our many enemies might show up? (It's like they don't even watch their own show!)

Oh, apparently Sciffy aired "The Boone Identity" at 5. I don't know what timezone but it may have been 5 central because at 6 central they definitely had Bionic Woman on.

Well, whenever it was on I missed it because I actually tuned into the channel for the timeslot indicated on their own damn web page. Idiots.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Thats funny because Chuck's apartment keeps reminding me of Cordelia's place. What with all the tile accents.

Dude! Journeyman just! got! interesting!

I was kind of on the fence about it earlier, but now I'm interested.

There is considerable overlap between the intelligence of the smartest bears and the dumbest tourists.

Or were you talking about SGA?

Yeah, was talking about SGA.
