Compassionately intolerant

I don't know why I watched all of Hex, because...damn. But I hated it and kept watching it, and it wasn't even cheesy fun anymore. I think I was hoping for the really big trainwreck.

Denied.

This was completely my experience. What a load of wasted potential!

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I actually watched the first series, and the beginning of the 2nd, but then forgot about it. What happened in the end?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I loved both these points. Perhaps because I didn't think their attraction in S1 was explicable at all. I thought it was done gently enough, with Stark being just pushy enough, just there enough to convince Allison he was all she needed--in combination with Jack at the start being too familiar. Very glad it went that way. Allison has a better relationship dynamic, and I love Jack and Nathan this way more too.

I can see that. I like Carter just fine sans Allison, and I really like Allison with Stark.

I'm (still) irking about it because, despite the clumsiness of the relationship with Carter and Allison in pushing it too hard too fast, that was what was established. I don't mind that they got to the nothingness between Carter and Allison, but I still found the progression from friendly flirtation/potential-life-partners to not even platonically friendly. They went from "not having a thing with the coffee *winkwink*" to "I nothing you" (in the famous words of Jordan from "Scrubs") --except for when they're not, heh.

But I can see that if the season one dynamic was the most irksome, season two dropping it like a bad habit would be welcome.

I personally would rather have seen more disengaging on Carter and Allson's part, though. But that's my preference.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Torchwood:

Then for a while I was all, "Like, what kind of things? I ask merely for information..."

This is me! I saw the slash and the pretty but my mind hung up on the stopwatch. I couldn't figure out if I was missing something or I was just supposed to use my imagination.

Hex: yes, it was a trainwreck but I kinda enjoyed it. As for what happened at the end, I'm not quite sure. The school burned down and I think Malachi did it deliberately, but then we only saw Leon, Velma and Ella get away. Oh, and Roxanne was sacrificed because her heart was pure...seriously!

This is the place for Journeyman, right? Cause this show keeps sucking me in. It gets so twisty!

Also, I saw Dog Soldiers over the weekend on SciFi and it was weird to see McKidd speaking in his own accent.

OMG he changed history!

Art Crawl!!!

He did!

And he and Jack were so Sam and Dean with the car and the missing Dad.

Next time Dan tells Jack that he time-travels, Jack better listen.

I enjoyed this week's Chuck and next week: Chuck-Bryce backstory!!! Cannot wait.

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, btw, how many of you guys are familiar with the OC? Because, apparently the Morgan and Chuck seeing each other across the room at the Halloween party was a parody of a scene in an episode called, "The Countdown."

Thrive to spite them

Everyone looks kind of off on the cover. Jack looks like he's wishing the Doctor would come and whisk him away, Ianto looks awkward. Gwen looks mad and she's between Jack and Ianto, she should be wondering where her stop watch is.

Poor Tosh and Owen are pushed off on the other side.
