Aren't they something. They're like butterflies, or little pieces of wrapping paper blowing around.

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, btw, how many of you guys are familiar with the OC? Because, apparently the Morgan and Chuck seeing each other across the room at the Halloween party was a parody of a scene in an episode called, "The Countdown."

Thrive to spite them

Everyone looks kind of off on the cover. Jack looks like he's wishing the Doctor would come and whisk him away, Ianto looks awkward. Gwen looks mad and she's between Jack and Ianto, she should be wondering where her stop watch is.

Poor Tosh and Owen are pushed off on the other side.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Then for a while I was all, "Like, what kind of things? I ask merely for information..."

This is me! I saw the slash and the pretty but my mind hung up on the stopwatch. I couldn't figure out if I was missing something or I was just supposed to use my imagination.

Well, I understand that English boarding schools used to (? still?) have illicit late-night games such as group masturbation competitions, in which the goal was to come as fast as possible. Over a biscuit. And the loser would have to then eat said biscuit. (I think this was in a Steven Fry novel?)

So - basically I was assuming some kind of race, with the stopwatch. Not neccesarily involving biscuits. But - yeah. Whatever.

...so I gather y'all have now seen TKOKS? Because I fucking loved the driving scene, with its conversation.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

apparently the Morgan and Chuck seeing each other across the room at the Halloween party was a parody of a scene in an episode called, "The Countdown."

Huh. It definitely felt like a parody of something, and Chuck has done several parodies already.

I wouldn't be surprised if the OC scene was a parody of a more famous film, and Chuck was referencing the original, not the OC.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I haven't seen Chuck yet, but could it be West Side Story?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I was hoping that Chuck would be geeky enough to actually do a Dune parody, but I guess not.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Is Chuck any good?

Art Crawl!!!

But isn't the OC's creator also the creator of Chuck?

(I love Chuck. It's funny and heartfelt. . . and they're even making Morgan more bearable.)

The pilot was outstanding, the regular episodes tend to drag.
