I wonder if its just being between seasons that lost us Cferg, and he'll return when the third season does. I don't think anyone was being hostile. The season finale was really flawed, and I suspect Cferg knew it. He wasn't the writer; not his responsibility. But I regret it if he found any of our comments personally hurtful, either on his own behalf, or on behalf of other people.

Man, two minutes is not long enough for the Razor flashbacks. Another good one.

Actually, Michelle Ryan is okay when she's not in super-mode. I think that she and the Bridges guy were pretty cute together. They should be starring in a romantic comedy though - not an action film.

We "lost" cferg because he was in another country filming a Movie of the Week during most of the run of S2.

I was just thinking about them this morning -- that I should mention them here --- as I bike past the store almost every day on my way to work.

I don't think we were being hostile either, Typo Boy, but sometimes I wondered if the (sometimes more often than not during the latter half of the season) negative reaction put him off from joining in the conversation like he used to. And then I wonder if he shared some of our views and felt it inappropriate to elaborate further with his own personal perspective, from what few comments I gathered from him.

As do I. All of my negative reactions to the show came from adoring the characters so much and the tone as it had been set during the first season and most of the second first-half.

Daniel, I hope you're right that this was the reason. I do miss his glee and insights and of course the podcasts (I love me some manic and highly opinionated Cferg. There, I said it. I loved hearing his opinion from everything to lighting, editing, CGI, acting choices, etc. as well as the playing with knives and munching on food). I really enjoyed and appreciated all of that, and for that I thank Cferg.

Umm, you did notice my phrasing, I hope. It was a conditional regret, but not any kind of apology.

Because a lively conversation is part of what makes this place. And I don't think that is going to be or should be toned down. Tim Minear, when he had time, has hung around for much stronger criticism, and criticism of his work, not someone else's on occasion. I seriously doubt that Eureka discussion drove Cferg away. Heck, I openly dislike Eureka until episode three, then got hooked. But I don't think the possibility that it did will change the tone of anyone's discussion.

Please--Colin's working. Don't take it personally, honest. He's not a web-living kind of a guy the way we are, and I doubt it'd occur to him to come by offseason especially if he's out of town.

In fact, when last we spoke, he hadn't even seen the finale due to shooting a Lifetime or somesuch movie. So he's oddly behind--it's weird having answer questions to him about the episode.

Working's good. Busy's good. (Just, not, you know, on my end).

Also, that man is going to force me to watch another Lifetime movie? Really?

You know, I would much rather watch Sheppard bicker with McKay for an hour than Random Space Babe of the Week.

I tuned in for the last 20 minutes and thought, oh one of those. It was familiar tv to relax before sleep for me. If there was more to it I didn't notice.

So far behind in watching. I haven't watched the last 5 Eurekas yet. So what did I do, I obtained the first 4 Pushing Daisies because you people made me do it! Now to find the time to watch all this good stuff.
