A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Isn't the guy with the cheekbones and the sweet martial art moves ita's boyfriend from that terrible (but pretty!) movie, what was the name, uhm, Brotherhood of the Wolf? Not much of an actor, but the dude can move.
Yeah, much as I love Sam, her hair was too pretty. She needs to go back to shorter hair or pin it up in a bun or something.
(Also, I thought it was implied that once Jack retired, he and Sam finally shacked up/did the sweet funky/went fishing. I wonder if she left him a videotape.)
The plot was kinda clunky, but Ronon got some angst, and we had lots of scenes of Teyla being awesome, so I can't complain.

Yes! One in the same. Ah, BotW. I have an inexplicable like of that movie. So odd. But so... something.

Yeah. The thing they did in the very beginning of the ep worked fine for me. The tendrils, though. No. I might even be able to work with the ponytail, though it wouldn't be my first choice, but the tendrils must go.
I'm either going to have to give up some shows or hope some get canceled (but not this one!) BW, I'm looking at you.
I've decided to drop BW myself. Not nearly enough fun for me. it's like they forgot the cheesy center of the source material.
I dropped BW almost from the beginning. The promos were good, the show not so much.
BW: I liked the pilot sort of in spite of myself, eyerolled through ep. 2, and ep. 3, I fast forwarded everything that didn't have Katee Sackhoff in it, and then talked right over the scenes she was in. I figure if all I want to do is look at Katee Sackhoff without actually paying attention to a show, there's a whole internet for that.
I had the repeat of BW on tonight but I spent almost the entire hour on the phone and really don't feel as though I missed a thing.
Why is it that the BSG webisodes from last summer seemed to have so much more going on than these Razor flashbacks? (Also, wasn't Billy Adama's eyes are blue? Is that a clue or something?)
Are you guys just watching Odyssey 5 now? I watched that four years ago or so. Or is it a remake or a different show? Because it sounds similar. Veeeery similar.
Jars, SciFi channel bought rerun rights to the one-year series from Showtime, so it's new to most people (including me). I tuned in because I saw a truly fabulous vid a few years ago based on it, and was intrigued enough to give it a try. I'll certainly try to watch next week to see if the premise holds up....
I have that vid! (Well, I suspect I do, anyway - and, hey, there can't be
that
many fabulous vids for this show, right?) And it's the reason that I would be tempted to watch the show too.
(Which, let it be noted, is by NO means the first time that the producers of a source text have benefited from fanvids/fanfic prompting me to seek out the DVDs/books/albums upon which the vid or fic was based.)
It also doesn't suffer for fan-favorites Peter Weller and Chris Gorham in starring roles -- the other cast looks good, too.
