Is it really?? I thought I was just having happy imaginings combined with the glare on my screen from and ill-placed lamp. Sweet!

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Odyssey 5: where is the Brit actor from? The one that reminds me of Ramsey of "Kitchen Nightmares"

Definitely a pilot that needs viewing of the second and possibly third eps to truly judge.

And what the heck happened to Earth? It turned into an instantaneous blackhole/wormhole/implosion of some kind that sucked the shuttle in yet didn't destroy it? And the moon didn't go suddenly out of orbit?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yeah, her hair is much less bothersome this week.

If this season is going to be John constantly giving Rodney shit about Sam, I'll be a happy girl.

JenP - Oct 12, 2007 5:28:48 pm PDT #7442 of 10001

Yes, it is. Though, OK, the ponytail and artful tendrils in the balcony scene were almost too pretty. Why am I so focused on her hair? Well, it's not like I haven't focused on Teyla's hair, John's hair, and Ronon's hair. Fair is fair.

ETA: Uh, oh. Inevitable betrayal. Ronon's gonna be pissed.

ETAA: OK, no, really - the tendrils have to go! Very pretty, but just not right.

ETAAA: Ronon and Sam are totally flirting.

Atlantis is your home now, Ronon. You can check in, but...

So, clearly Mark Dcan'tspellitsorry is coming back. Nice.

I think I'm going to enjoy Sam on Atlantis.

The Replicator reminded me of the Borg drones in his utter disregard for the pesky humans in his presence.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I figured out about ten minutes before the reveal that they were collaborators. Poor Ronon.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Isn't the guy with the cheekbones and the sweet martial art moves ita's boyfriend from that terrible (but pretty!) movie, what was the name, uhm, Brotherhood of the Wolf? Not much of an actor, but the dude can move.

Yeah, much as I love Sam, her hair was too pretty. She needs to go back to shorter hair or pin it up in a bun or something.

(Also, I thought it was implied that once Jack retired, he and Sam finally shacked up/did the sweet funky/went fishing. I wonder if she left him a videotape.)

The plot was kinda clunky, but Ronon got some angst, and we had lots of scenes of Teyla being awesome, so I can't complain.
