I'm really going to like Wednesdays, I think. I like Pushing Daisies muchly (though it IS a bit cute), but I may be falling in love with DirtySexyMoney. Sooo cheesy good!
'Jaynestown'
Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I'm enjoying DirtySexyMoney. It's got the same blithe cynicism as Boston Legal, sort of, but with darker notes added. Although I cringe a little as the "good guy" slides down the slippery slope.
I find the priest on DirtySexyMoney to be not only unlikeable, but unfathomable (what the HELL brought him to the priesthood?) and what he's doing to "Gustav" unconscionable.
Peter Krause is awesome, as always, but I'd rather watch SN.
Pushing Daisies, otoh, is fantastic and makes me giggle helplessly like I haven't since s1 OC. Not that the two are anything alike.
I wonder if Chi already knew how to knit or had to learn for the show.
Or he fakes it and, for close-ups of his hands, they use a stand-in.

I think most of the knitting shots last night were medium shots, where you could see both Chi and his hands, so those shots, it had to be him.
I loved the money cozies at the end. It's like they made this show FOR ME!
The morgue guy is a riot.
He played Lite in Repo Man: [while being shot at] "Get back in the car, white boy. You're still on the fucking job." Otto: "You repo men, you're all out to fuckin' lunch!"
I wonder if Chi already knew how to knit or had to learn for the show.
I like to think he's channeling Roosevelt Greer.
I'm so very much loving Pushing Daisies. Lee Pace is the epitome of sweet charm, Kristin Chenowith is fantastic and even the children are captivating. Not to mention Digby, who steals every scene.
I've proclaimed my Jim Dale love far and wide.
I can't think of a thing I don't love about it...which bodes ill for its potential success. ::appendages crossed::
PSA: This week's Smallville was possibly the worst one they have ever done: even the teaser dragged.
Are there any screencaps being done at LJ or other sites? I may have to see if I can make screencaps....
Oh my God, if a show ever cried out for vidding, it was this one. If TV colors ever cried out for hallucinogenic consumption, it was this one. If a TV show ever needed singing along with, it was this one....
