But, they're experience was that Cybermen were pretty darn near invincible - would you really second guess that?
You shoot cybermen a lot. It's the only way to be sure.

I understand what you're saying. There's definitely an element of the show that revels in "We're so cool, we're so edgy, we're practically American sci-fi."
Something I love about this episode -- Ianto is *so* upset. Sobbing, cursing, completely off-his-rocker upset. That's not a place most American shows go.

Yeah, it was (almost) terminally stupid of him to hide Lisa, but I really felt for him all the same.

When I was in London a couple of months ago, there was an exhibit of art made by prisoners. One group effort was a life-size Dalek version of the Madonna and Child (complete with conical bra).
