Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

You impale the Cyberman with your Gold Star that you received for Mathematical Excellence. That'll work.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Eh, okay. It still squicked me out.

Thrive to spite them

She was claiming she wouldn't hurt anyone but she was still a Cyberwoman, when she was talking to Ianto she said they could "upgrade" to be together. I think that's the right term, but she was still using Cyberman terminology when talking about them being together.

Actually, it sort of reminded me of Firefly when everyone shoots and kills Nsika.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

if I recall, she didn't seem superduperdangerous at that point.

Hadn't she already survived attack by pterodactyl? (You have to admit, there's not a lot of shows where you can make that comment.)

P-C, did you watch the episodes of Dr. Who that dealt with the Cybermen, especially the S2 finale? Just curious to see if that affects your perspective.

Yeah, I know all about Cybermen. It was just weird to watch because she was a woman.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It was just weird to watch because she was a woman.

Less dangerous than the male of the species?

I can see it being weird because more of her human shows, but that's the seduction and the danger--Ianto fell for it too.

Huh. I hadn't thought about that. I was about ready to hit someone after the scientist started groping her.

PC obviously wasn't programmed by Fritz Lang's Metropolis. I think "Evil female robot [link] Kill, kill!"

Ha. It would have been different if she were completely metal. Like ita said, there was too much human showing.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

It would have been different if she were completely metal.

You haven't seen what she looked like when she started acting evil.
