What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Fiona, I enjoyed the new Who episode. I do love Daleks, after all.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Xposted to When Come Back:

I missed the Stargate Mythology special. Does anybody by purest chance l have it on dvr who's willing to dub it for me? I'll pay postage. And possibly send bribes. Profile addy is good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Fiona, many of those Dr. Who US accents seem close to what you'd get in your average US production--I couldn't imagine the horror if all 30s women had Tallulhah's accent, but it sure seems popular when reconstructing the era.

Are they plain not going to spend as much time off Earth as in the older series?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Dr. Who:

To be continued? Damnit.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Who:

Tallula's accent reminded me of the "American" accents in Jeeves and Wooster. Ugh. Still, I liked her character. Everyone else sounded at least inoffensive.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

DW: we sat there and cringed through the accents in this ep. Laslow was great, though. Really subtle actor. Apparently Solomon (so amusing with splitting the bread!) is also on a UK medical show called Holby City, which amused my friend to no end. TBC sucks, though.

Been very ill and very busy. Am I in the right place? And are we talking season 3 Who?

Zenkitty - Apr 22, 2007 1:37:42 pm PDT #703 of 10001
Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hi, CFerg! Welcome back!

We are indeed. It goes in whitefont since it's un-American.

Yep, you are in the right place. Welcome back!

Speaking of which:

DW 3.34 - I thought Solomon's accent was really good, and I thought Laslow gave a wonderful performance, too. The human/dalek reminded me of something, but I can't figure it out. It's bugging me. Oh, and I liked the look of the black model Dalek. Very Fonzie, or something. I liked the ep, though it wasn't especially suspenseful.
