'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I was watching with friends, most of whom write and, you know, care deeply about words used correctly... and we all spontaneously cheered when the Master used decimate correctly.

Not that there wasn't a lot else to cheer in this episode, including more of the season's past episodes being called back to.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

There was much love of the "decimate" in these parts back during the June ahemming.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Who: Oh, the one thing I didn't recall, and tried to find by googling, but doing so without being spoiled is hard, was the "Christmas Stars". I have no memory of them. When was that?

Art Crawl!!!

BBCA is showing "The Girl in the Fireplace" and I immediately thought, "THAT'S where I last saw that plot about watching the little girl grow up from Moonlight last night."

Art Crawl!!!

Shouldn't the Doctor have fixed up Jack's cell phone like he did Rose's? Then he could have phoned the Torchwood team in the Himalayas.

Martha's is done up that way, too.

Oh! Here we go. They can't use cel phones, because of Archangel, so it wouldn't help.
