A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Chuck: The thing I don't understand about it is how it can maintain itself. The premise is that he has had
all this government intelligence downloaded into his brain.
But won't much of
that intelligence be outdated in a year or two?
The best thing about the pilot was noticed by FAQWife. Near the beginning of the show, you can see a poster for
North By Northwest
in his room. Later, at the
LargeMart, there's a homage to the film with the forklift-cart thingies blocking his way from the terrorist guy (like the train in the movie).
Chuck: The thing I don't understand about it is how it can maintain itself.
Yeah, that was my big question too. Among other things which I've now forgotten, but that was the big one.
Me three. I thought it was fun (more so than I expected, even), but it felt like a movie premise rather than a series premise.
I think "Chuck" has a possible "Alias" vibe, which may make me watch it week to week.
Given links ita gave to BW news, I'm seriously contemplating not watching the show again. I don't see the point if the behind the scenes are so screwed up.
Really enjoyed the Highlander W&P. So I guess this means that Highlander vs. Mansquito is next?
le nubian - which links are those?
I thought that
Mark Sheppard was surely not old enough to be Jaimie's bf's father -
did that seem odd to you guys?
From that link,
If the actual creator of the show is a guy like Eick (a POD, in other words)
What's a POD? Producer of Doom is all I am coming up with.
-I would enjoy a future more if everything she touches turns to plants. But I want her to find this out before she gets into bed again with Tom.
Mwhahaha. Oh, that's going to send me into inappropriate gales at odd intervals for the next couple of days. Poor Tom, there are some places one doesn't need petunias.
I didn't hate Meghan the way some people did, though I was desperately hoping for Alana to return. But I enjoyed this season very much. I've been watching from the start and I sometimes get the feeling they took a sharp left at the end of season 1 and found themselves someplace entirely else, said the hell with it, and ran like hell towards some goal in the misty distance which they seem to have finally reached.
Does anyone know if there's another season? A part of me would like that, because I think another sharp turn is the only place to go from here and I'm curious to see where they'd take it. OTOH, it feels resolved and finished (danglers included) and that's often best left alone.
