Anya: It's lovely! I wish it was mine! Oh like you weren't all thinking the same thing. Giles: I'm fairly certain I wasn't.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

aarrgghhhh

I hate endings like that! Baby makes it all better!

So, what, are the other Immortals still alive and Immortal? What happened to Methos? Is Duncan Immortal or does he remain human?

nnngggghhghgh

Yeah, I've read LOTS of HL fanfic that was way better than that.

It's not that I can't believe it got written. A lot of crap gets written. It's not that I can't believe it got made -- a lot of crap gets made.

What I don't understand is why the original actors signed on for that. The show didn't end too terribly long ago, in the grand scheme of things. They couldn't have blown through their money this soon, could they?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Kids to put through college? I'm grateful Wingfield signed on, because it would have been unwatchable without him. Of course, I wouldn't have watched it.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Okay, thank goodness you're done with your watch-n-post, because I just watched Blink on my Tivo and I had to come in here to say...

Aaaaarrrgggh! Aaaa! Aaaarhhaqqeahhaa!

Even knowing ahead of time it was going to be scary did not make it not scary. It was scary. I am scared.

Also, I am alone in the house, and there is statuary.

And! I have a photograph of an angel statue from the hospital where my grandmother died and it is invested with enough emotion already thankyewverymuch! But it is scary anyway, because the angel fills most of the frame, but all fuzzy, and the focus is actually on a close-up of a flower, which is partially out of frame. It's a gorgeous photo, really. And the angel is praying, not weeping.

I think. I had to go check.

Well, it is, but then again, I'm looking at it. So I dunno what it's doing now, all out of focus and suddenly threatening!

Okay. Done now.

But still, scared. And also I loved it. It was a great episode, and very satisfying.

And I would love to see Sally Sparrow as a companion. In fact, I would love to see Sally and Larry both on as companions, because then they could have their own love story, and they could see the world and be company for the doctor, but not all caught up in him.

Okay. Now I have to go mix, because I didn't earlier, because I was watching the Buckeyes and then Blink and then because I was scared. Will be back later if not eaten by statuary.

My Dream, Let Me Tell You It

Methos! I just had the weirdest dream!

Mac, you woke me up to tell me about a dream? What are you, a teenage girl?

Joe died, and you left me to be eaten by cannibals.

Were they zombie cannibals?

No, just regular cannibals. Then there was a girl and I got her pregnant.

If you keep telling me about this dream, I will go and find some cannibals to leave you to.

If cannibals ate an Immortal...

Happened to me once.

Liar.

Shut up and sleep, MacLeod.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

So, what, are the other Immortals still alive and Immortal?

No, they just feel like they are because they had to keep watching dailies of this crappy movie with people running through those trees for what seems like forever.

All is well that ends in pizza.

And the angel is praying, not weeping.

Well, at the time of the photo, at least.

Hee, Liese! It was totally scary, and I watched it alone the first time, too (and subsequent times) and, yeah, still scary. Fortunately, there is no statuary here.

And I would love to see Sally Sparrow as a companion. In fact, I would love to see Sally and Larry both on as companions, because then they could have their own love story, and they could see the world and be company for the doctor, but not all caught up in him.

You are not alone in this. By a long shot.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I can't help wondering if Jo's regression has anything to do with Andrew Cosby's departure and new writers picking up the reins. "God is in the Details" is the first episode written by Eric Wallace, who apparently just doesn't "get" Jo. Still, you'd think Tania and Jamie would exercise some sort of quality control...

You've just reminded me of what Jane Espenson did to Inara, and I still wonder how the f*** that happened. /issues
