Okay, good, if Methos is offscreen, maybe he'll survive.
'Heart Of Gold'
Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
It's a freaking Wicker Man.
I I can see the planets moving! They're closer than the Moon! The tidal forces are ripping the Earth apart!
Dana you totally called it!
OMG! this is such rubbish!
OK, my father and brother really liked the Highlander movies, and faithfully watched the TV shows, so I followed along as well. I forgot this was on until around 9:30, and have only watched about a half hour.
But WOW. That was some kind of awful.
God forbid the woman have a story beyond motherhood.
Man, I need to go read some fanfic. That hurt.
But Methos is still alive, and really, that's what matters.
This is really really bad. But I've only seen the original Highlander movie (and the series) so I can't say how it stacks up to the other movies.
aarrgghhhh
I hate endings like that! Baby makes it all better!
So, what, are the other Immortals still alive and Immortal? What happened to Methos? Is Duncan Immortal or does he remain human?
nnngggghhghgh
Yeah, I've read LOTS of HL fanfic that was way better than that.
It's not that I can't believe it got written. A lot of crap gets written. It's not that I can't believe it got made -- a lot of crap gets made.
What I don't understand is why the original actors signed on for that. The show didn't end too terribly long ago, in the grand scheme of things. They couldn't have blown through their money this soon, could they?
