Aha! She was the one that got pregnant and had the abortion, right?
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Molly Price, Bosco's partner and sometimes lover, and she had a son.
I think Life could do without the fruit thing. Though it didn't make me cringe as much as I thought I would based on the promos. Or maybe I just numbed myself to them from obsessive watching of said promos. I think I'm also just tickled to see shades of Mr. Gray peaking through every now and then.
Okay, I've finished the ep of Bionic Woman. Just not in love with Katee Sackhoff. I don't like her delivery at all. I know she's all Daddy's bruised little girl painting over it by being breathy and provocative, but ...bored now. Faith did it so much better. I think the lead's doing a great job, but I think I'd like to have seen more of her being tough as nails before the surgery, just because I think most people would cave entirely, and I'm not sure why she didn't. Her sister is beyond annoying. That may never change.
Oh, and trivially: Katee Sackhoff was wearing the best colour of lipstick in the bar scene, but when we see her in the bathroom later, it's not the same. Disproportionately bugged me.
Also, was there an explanation for why Badger's face looked so rough in his final scene? That's not how it looked when they visited him in prison, right?
if i'm not mistaken, ita, i think the sister role has been recast. not that it will probably help.
I'm on episode 13 of marathoning the first season of Farscape because --I'd never seen any of it. I didn't know if I would stick with it past the first episode, but I'm glad I did.
The incident with the pilot's arm in DNA mad scientist still really bothers me. I know it was supposed to, but three episodes later, I don't know if I can ever really like the characters involved in that decision. It was shocking, and horrifying, and I didn't think they would go through with it. I guess that is good storytelling even if I am left with kind of a sick feeling.
I didn't think they would go through with it.
Welcome to Farscape.
Austin! How very fun! I remember posting in here when I finally marathoned Farscape.
I had a similar reaction to "DNA Mad Scientist," Austin. I wasn't sure whether the decision was any better because Pilot could grow his arm back.

Heh.

Yeah, I had been told by many people that it started out not so hot, so I kept trucking even though it was mostly just mediocre with shades of goodness for a while. I think "DNA Mad Scientist" was the first sign of the show's real potential. Although I really enjoyed "Back and Back and Back to the Future."
Keep posting, Austin.
Welcome to Farscape.
I was afraid of that.

I considered this also, but I think my reaction is based on his reaction. He looked, at the time, traumatized. Despite what Pilot said, I still had a sense that he felt violated and betrayed. But then he recovered, albeit slightly sad, while I was still left with OMGWTF.

With good fucking cause! I mean, it's not like he offered it. They forcefully took it from him. That really hurts, emotionally and physically, regardless of the intent and the outcome.

YAY!!! i marathoned all four seasons in a little less than a month because i am insane and i also wanted to watch The Peacekeeper Wars live. my basic line of thought is that if you aren't hooked by The Flax you probably never will.
I started posting about it in lj here, if you want to read my squeeing as i was going along.
