Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I think I love Life, which is great for me since I love Damien Lewis.

Why is Journeyman reminding me of Daybreak (beyond the inclusion of Moon Bloodgood) but not in a good way? More of a tired way. This is not great since I love Kevin McKidd.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I compiled my fall TV-schedule list last night. There are way too many shows to check out. I almost want to skip to the part where 80% of them have been canceled.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

the Bionic Woman pilot is pretty good. i think Michelle Ryan is just the girl for the part. she reminds me a bit of Jennifer Garner, which is good since she kicked butt in Alias.

Chuck is adorable and possibly my favorite of the pilots i've watched. it probably has the most potential to appeal to mainstream America. whereas i'm worried about Pushing Daisies because of its obvious quirkiness.

Man I need to get TiVo. I know I'm going to miss half of what I want to try to catch. My main way of watching TV now is stick with the usual, add one new one, and then see what everyone else says about the rest and wait for DVDs or do that other thing.

I'm all stressed out because I won't have my cable/internet hooked up until next Thursday!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I started watching Bionic Woman and I have two things on my mind: Will Yun Lee! and Who's the blonde not played by Katee Sackhoff?

Off to IMDB.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

She was in "Third Watch", ita with a completely different hairstyle.

I did not love "Life." I watch a whole lot of crime and I felt that the main character's weirdass quirks started getting on my nerves. I missed maybe 20 minutes in the middle, but I felt like it was generally a formulaic show. Like if you dropped Bobby (L&O:CI) in "The Fugitive."

I also got the distinct whiff of imminent cancellation while watching the pilot. NBC is premiering 4 dramas this Fall and odds are at most 2 will survive. BW I think will survive. That leaves "Chuck" or "Life" as possible show #2.

Aha! She was the one that got pregnant and had the abortion, right?

Molly Price, Bosco's partner and sometimes lover, and she had a son.

I think Life could do without the fruit thing. Though it didn't make me cringe as much as I thought I would based on the promos. Or maybe I just numbed myself to them from obsessive watching of said promos. I think I'm also just tickled to see shades of Mr. Gray peaking through every now and then.

Okay, I've finished the ep of Bionic Woman. Just not in love with Katee Sackhoff. I don't like her delivery at all. I know she's all Daddy's bruised little girl painting over it by being breathy and provocative, but ...bored now. Faith did it so much better. I think the lead's doing a great job, but I think I'd like to have seen more of her being tough as nails before the surgery, just because I think most people would cave entirely, and I'm not sure why she didn't. Her sister is beyond annoying. That may never change.

Oh, and trivially: Katee Sackhoff was wearing the best colour of lipstick in the bar scene, but when we see her in the bathroom later, it's not the same. Disproportionately bugged me.

Also, was there an explanation for why Badger's face looked so rough in his final scene? That's not how it looked when they visited him in prison, right?
