Does anybody mind if I pass out?

Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

studiously avoided Chuck

How come, ita? I've heard really good things about it. Pretty much everyone I know who's seen the pilot loves it.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I just saw Bionic Woman on Unbox. I'll put some comments (not really that spoilery, mostly reactions) in white:

I felt the episode was just okay. I liked some of the things they accomplished (and the direction was pretty good), but I felt like they covered WAY too much ground in this episode. TV pilots usually do this, but I think they should have set up one main conflict and explained maybe one "evil" character's motivation and left it at that.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Maybe something on Thursday? I am such a flake.

Solar Attack? Apparently...the sun is attacking us or something.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I enjoyed the Bionic Woman pilot quite a bit. Most of what I didn't like was pilot-y stuff (Exposition Dialogue!). Katee Sackoff is excellent and more than a little Faith-y.

I haven't seen the recut version that's on Unbox right now, though, so I don't know how much has been changed.

Journeyman....oy. Why, Vorenus, why? Why couldn't your show have been good?

Not a huge fan of this week's Eureka, for all the reasons that have already been hashed out. WTF Jo? Please tell me there's a future episode where she stops smoking the bad crack and punches Zane in the face for being a ginormous jackass. Please?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Does the whole Poochie Zane character smack of Skiffy interference to anyone else? Especially setting him up with Jo? I hope there's a twist coming, but I'm not feeling confident.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

PC, it looked goofy. I don't like goofy. Chuck looks goofy.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Does the whole Poochie Zane character smack of Skiffy interference to anyone else?

yeah, I said something about that earlier, his character is there to try to bring in a different audience, make Eureka "hipper"

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I think I love Life, which is great for me since I love Damien Lewis.

Why is Journeyman reminding me of Daybreak (beyond the inclusion of Moon Bloodgood) but not in a good way? More of a tired way. This is not great since I love Kevin McKidd.
