I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Maybe Vincent was lying. 'Cause Cafe Diem didn't turn out to be a dead spot. Just had a lack of senders, right, which was what made Jack try it?

Jack didn't realize the sender/reciever issue at that point, I think. He just knew that no one at Cafe Diem had reported sharing dreams, so he thought that there might be something about that spot that shielded it.

Something funny just occurred to me. You know how, in your dreams, you idealize yourself. Zoe probably wasn't just embarrassed about seeing her dad naked, she was probably also traumatized by his enormous schlong. (oddly, once that word came into my head, I couldn't really thing of anything else. Well, except "member", which just sounds stupid. Or turgid manhood)

Jo is kickass in her real life, the softer side has a good counterpoint for her character.

yeah, I think that they are actively trying to show multiple facets of her, with the dancer discussion and the heroine dream, she's showing that she's not always the hardassed gun nut that you see.

Also, isn't it interesting that she cast Stark as a villain?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

the softer side has a good counterpoint for her character.

Yeah, the softer side in which she's a romantic pawn and completely without agency.

They could have done the tango! It would have tied in to the dancing theme. But no, the boys had to swordfight.

I thought of it as less about her being helpless and more about enjoying men fighting over her.

I'll go with this thought. I don't know how many times I've had similar dreams. Once with Tom Cruise and my ex-fiance. I chose the ex-fiance.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Vortex is me. And dream!Sail rocks for ditching Tom Cruise.

Tom being gay and all, I think you went with the best choice.

You know, I've always wondered if I had a fabulous gay friend, who was really rich and I had a good time with and liked a lot and he asked me to marry him for appearance or visa purposes, whether I would do it. But, I digress

Agh! 'kay, I've not seen any of Eureka Season 2, so I'm all about the envious non-commenting there. But I have snagged several sets of DVDs lately. So, Blood Ties was good, eh? And Dresden Files really quite endearing too! I understand that TDF didn't get renewed? But I'm hoping that BT will be having a second season - anyone know the sitch? Also, Smallville Season 6 - much more fun than I'd have expected, overall.

Um. I return you to your regularly scheduled SPN/Eureka squee.

Though, wasn't Carter having an "I'm embarassed because I'm naked in public" dream? Would that be idealized?

(Then again, Allison dropped her coffee...)

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

And her gaze did linger.
