'Shindig'

Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

If the Sheriff's car gets impaled, I think he gets to claim jurisdiction.

Tell me about it. We frequently have to remind the powers that be that it's less dumb vs. smart and more academic (or institutional) vs. legal... or the good version of that comparison.

I think if the characters are smart in different ways it makes for more compelling problems. I fear I take a bit of hit on that front ths year.

I think this ep was bad for it though.

Our wings are not tired.

It is not uncommon for people brilliant in different ways to not appreciate each other's talents. I think this is a theme that can work. I'm just feeling a bit defensive for poor Carter. He's bringing out my mamabear instincts.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Dang it, I have gotta stay out of this thread until I actually watch the episode. This is about the fourth time today I have landed in here and almost got spoiled. Sorry, CFerg, we have it recorded, but with our work schedules, it's impossible to watch with the rest of the nation.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Joe Flanigan is apparently trying to break all cuteness records:

I think this gives David Hewlett, his dog, and an inflatable Dalek a run for its money.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

If someone were to take a picture of them standing around while the dogs frolic together, the world might actually implode.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I know! I'm all traumatized about SARAH.

I did notice that she said "See you at home" as she "died" so I'm assuming she was relaying the relevant bits of data of her excursion out and about back to the bunker in real time.

Art Crawl!!!

Daniel, I thought something similar - that she wasn't really dead. I hope that they fix the car!

There is considerable overlap between the intelligence of the smartest bears and the dumbest tourists.

If the Dalek 2-parter was really the worst of the season, it must be a hell of a season. I was expecting something really terrible from all the comments, but it was fine. Cheesy in spots, but well, it's Doctor Who.

Oh, it is. It really is.

My mum is over, and missed a couple of episodes, so I got to rewatch the "Human Nature" two-parter and "Utopia" over the past couple of nights. What hardship! They're all the ones I wanted to rewatch anyway.
