Laga how would you pronounce: Aibrean Caphadh? Or Cailin Eara or Sceolang?
I would ask an Irish person. If nobody's told me how to pronounce it yet, I dunno. First time I met Seaghan (who is Welsh btw) I called him SEEgan. Taking a stab I would say...
A-vree CA-fahthe, KAY-lin AIR-ah, and SHO-lan
but I'm probably way off.
I'm told that Welsh spelling is very regular, i.e. the letters follow an exact set of rules to indicate how it's pronounced. However, Irish spelling is all over the map because different groups of monks started transliterating the Irish Gaelic at about the same time, according to different rules and local pronunciations, making it even more chaotic than English spelling.
Isn't this
Special Unit 2:
NBC has bought the rights to an untitled supernatural police procedural series from writer John Stephens (The O.C.), Variety reported. The show, produced by Warner Brothers Television, involves a team of regular cops dedicated to busting vampires, zombies and other criminal demons.

Everything's better when it's a police procedural!
Touched By an Angel + Police Procedural = Saving Grace
Buffy + Police Procedural = Special Unit 2
Wasn't Special Unit 2 on Skiffy? Where it bombed? Or am I confuzzling it with another such show?
Special Unit 2 was initially on UPN, I believe, though Sci-Fi reran it.
I thought that it was TNT. the channel, I mean
It was on UPN, and Skiffy recently re-ran it.
