A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Poor Bobby. Being the adult must be so hard.
It is! Very very difficult. Except for that whole thing where I'm only the adult under very specific circumstances for you lot, otherwise
I'm
the one who needs the designated grown-up. Which, for a certain upcoming concert, is Plei. The irony is very strong.

It's the irony that makes it so amusing. That, and now we think of you as the adult whilst we flail.
Now, I need to catch up on TDF.
No thoughts on Dresden file? Murphy invited Harry to kiss her again. My feelings on that are mixed: they have good chemistry. But it is a bit disappointing that one of the few non-sexual man/woman friendships on TV turns to romantic undertones so soon.
Uh, I thought that there were some DF posts last night. Did they get lost?
I enjoyed it and can't believe that the season is over. I loved both the kiss and the slap.
Also, (and I don't think I said this over here) - I loved the casual use of magic while Harry was searching the reporter's office.
I think my problem with the season was that the arc got so tampered with that it didn't feel cohesively of a piece -- it would have been a much better kicker to the season to find out that Harry's uncle was still alive, for instance.
Also, Murphy's character needed more of an arc of belief/disbelief.
I'd love to see the show come back for another season.
I loved the episode! The kiss was cute, and Harry's going to need a couple weeks to process the fact that Murphy invited him to do it again (safely).
Bob looked rather envious for a moment after they figured out what the branding iron did. Like he wished he'd thought of that.
Harry's not a fighter, but he's a big guy. I wish he'd learn how to throw a solid punch. Hell, Murphy knocked him off-balance with a slap.
Harry turning the shop sign to "Closed" there at the end was a little ominous, though. I really want a second season.

I refuse to take that as any sort of portent.
Yeah, I really need Paul Blackthorne on my TV, on a regular basis, preferably as Harry Dresden.
I fell asleep for the last ten minutes of the episode. But we watched
Drive,
and then the re-run DF (because we'd missed it before), so it wasn't episode quality that caused the slumber.
DF: It was okay. I felt it was a little off character-wise, but nothing too bad. I just, as with everything else in this series, would have liked more build-up.
I definitely agree with Theo about the arc tampering. I think it affected seriously the way I enjoyed the season.
