The way my cable is structured, getting rid of Skiffy means I'd lose - of the channels I actually sometimes watch - Discovery Channel, Weather Channel, History Channel, Comedy Central, Animal Planet, and USA.
How did it get to this place? We're paying the money, but we aren't the customers who matter - the advertisers are. My little boycott won't make a damn bit of difference to Skiffy, or anyone else.
Andi is currently reading a fanfic in which SG-1 decided not to accept fish in Jack's pond, and went off to try changing time again.

Not sure if anyone else here has noticed, but it seems that Eureka commentary for Try, Try Again (this season's 2nd episode) is now up. Yay!

I so rarely watch cable channels that i'd love to be able to give it up, but if i do that i can't have the DVR. which is tres annoying.
those who are watching the episodes of DW on SciFi, have heart. the episodes do get better. that two parter was one of the worst i have ever seen.
