A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Plus? only mildly fantasy/SF at first. Except for the Sentinel-like tracking abilities of Fraser.

And don't forget his menace to doors everywhere! My brother and I howl everytime another door gets kicked completely off it's hinges/cracked in half and otherwise decimated.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Benton Fraser: Scourge of 1/10 of doors everywhere.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Ah, the first season of Due South which suddenly takes a swerve to the magic realism side some time around the two part "Chicago Holiday" episodes, and after that the characterization of Vecchio changes for the better, too. There is much good watching ahead for you!

All is well that ends in pizza.

We just watched the Chicago Holiday two-parter. I think that's where the quote is from.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Vecchio is my not-so-seekrit TV boyfriend.

In FCM, I think I'd have to chuck the Mountie.

Which is just fuckin' wrong.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Because you really, really should be.

And then you should come in and flail about it, so we can rejoice with you.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

TDF: an excerpt from TWoP:

"A poster at Jim Butcher's board who has been participating in the email campaign to save TDF also reports receiving a reply telling him to expect an announcement this week. FWIW, if they were just cancelling TDF, I would not think they'd make a separate cancellation announcement. So IMHO, either it is a separate renewal announcement for TDF or they are set to announce their whole winter schedule, which TDF may or may not be on. YMMV."

So, hurry up and wait, le sigh.

Oh Paul Blackthorne, at least you have given me pretty pretty imagery with which to dress up my summer reading. I mean, my rose-coloured glasses are on and the axe hasn't fallen just yet!

Our wings are not tired.

Sigh, I've had it on in the background while working, but I now remember the problem I had the last time I tried SPN. It's dark. Not content, because dark content doesn't bother me. If I am to watch this show I would need to crank up the brightness on my video. I had to do this with Angel at times too. My eyes just don't like dark shows. Will try again another time. Perhaps with DVD's so I can just watch on my computer and adjust the brightness there.
