I think the last time the idea was brought up, we were still waiting to see if the show would be renewed or not.
Buffy ,'Same Time, Same Place'
Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I feel sort of guilty about it, Frank, mostly because I don't participate in any other discussion in here. I'll propose it if you want, because we're losing the Veronica Mars thread once the S3 DVDs are released.
I'll gladly second the proposal.
I have to peek in B'cracy and see how these things are worded.
Gee, it's sort of straightforward, huh? Off to propose.
You'll want to propose a NAFDA thread (no spoilers; no white font), that's about it, Amy. A single show thread is a pretty simple proposition. People are either going to be for it or against it.
I'd like a thread for SPN. I haven't talked about it much because I can't do the watch and posts, but when the season starts back I'll definitely be more active.
Thank you, Cindy. I'm all proud that I've popped my proposal cherry.
Frank, I understand how you feel. It's *exactly* the way I feel when I come into the thread to find out what people are watching and what they think about it. Contrary to appearances, SPN is not the only thing I watch or care about, and I get interested in other things by listening to folks talk about what they like.
But when all I find is acres of whitefont about stuff that's been ahemmed, it makes me cranky. If I had my way, there'd be a thread *just* for ahemmed shows, no matter whether genre or not, and another thread just for DVD W&P, no matter whether genre or not. But it's not my sandbox.
I'm sorry you're cranky about the W&P.
Just for myself, I'd rather not base creating new threads on what makes people cranky, especially when the existing threads are being used the way they are supposed to.
I sort of agree with Lee, even though I proposed the thread. It's just ... I do feel guilty about flailing all over everyone else, and a dedicated thread means *I* don't have to wade through Dr. Who and Stargate all that, which I don't watch (yet). So, selfish reasons, too.
