Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

The Painkiller Jane ads are making me miss Witchblade. And Blood Ties, oddly.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Painkiller's just so damned smug. It's like they had to make her extra-cocky and guylike to make her convincing. I bet she sits on the subway with her legs open extra wide and an almost-leer on her face.

I do miss Witchblade something awful...

Art Crawl!!!

I miss Witchblade too. Painkiller Jane didn't remind me of her at all.

Meanwhile, I love the "Made in Eureka" ads.

And I always knew that t-storms couldn't be trusted.

Thrive to spite them

I think there was some overacting there by the patients.

I like the bendy straw.

I find it amusing that Martha sees non human looking aliens, is on the moon, hears the Doctor's story, sees a woman drinking blood through a bendy straw, and only truly believes the Doctor is an alien (even after hearing his heartbeats) when the Jadoon classify him as non human.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Oh, goodness, I quite like Martha. And not just because she's the first black companion. And she's gorgeous!

I like her too. She's smart and funny and apparently the only sensible person in her family. (Probably a good idea to have somebody sensible around the Doctor too.)
