'The Message'

Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Yeah, piss-poor job by the prop folks on that one.

SAMMY SMASH!

Because books.

They also used some fairly cheesy Spooky Music in this episode, didn't they?

Sam always looks so earnest when they're close to the answer/dead body/spirit.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Dean will die snarking, poor niblet.

Hush, you. There will be no killing of the Dean.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh, Sam with the dying to jump the guy and Dean with the nuh-uh!, all in silent facial expressions.

"Yeah, she's sure, idiotSam."

There will be no killing of the Dean.

No, no, later. Fifty years from now, in his bed, surrounded by fat grandchildren.

Pea soup, heh.

Because books.

"I could really go for some pea soup." Heh.

What I love most about this episode is how together they are, even when they're separated. No matter what their differences, this is a perfect example of all those of years of growing up so closely, completely outside the normal social sphere.
