Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins. Twenty years old. Born on the fourth of July — and don't think there weren't jokes about that my whole life, mister, 'cause there were. 'Who's our little patriot?' they'd say, when I was younger and therefore smaller and shorter than I am now.

Anya ,'Potential'

Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

There will be no killing of the Dean.

No, no, later. Fifty years from now, in his bed, surrounded by fat grandchildren.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Pea soup, heh.

Because books.

"I could really go for some pea soup." Heh.

What I love most about this episode is how together they are, even when they're separated. No matter what their differences, this is a perfect example of all those of years of growing up so closely, completely outside the normal social sphere.

Yeah, "Boy, you really are brothers."

It's all those late nights waiting up for Dad watching syndicated reruns and movies on local tv. It's their frame of reference; they use it for shorthand and for code.

Which, still doesn't explain funkytown.

Vaguely SPN-related:

I just realized that the Def Leppard/Styx/REO Speedwagon concert is this weekend.

The Dean in me wants to goooooo, though I have no one to go with, and even lawn seats are $30.

eta: Yeah, I think we're done.

Because books.

Unless we want to talk about why the boys aren't naked more. We could always talking about that.

Lee and Cass and Plei, we missed you tonight.

They're probably all off setting things on fire or summat.

I'm always in favor of talking about naked boys.
