Hands! Hands in new places!

Willow ,'Storyteller'

Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm sadly unsurprised. But if that's what's funding Eureka, so be it.

Because books.

I just wish there were some tiny, flimsy connection between wrestling and sci-fi programming. Just a thread. It bugs.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Dammit. I was starting to have hope. Should'a known better.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Well, damn. At least I have plenty of the books left to read.

The books aren't the same. *sigh*

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Well, I totally missed my chance to test my resolve to remain a sane person and not turn into a crazed fangirl and attack David Boreanaz, who as it turns out was in my town and only 10 MINUTES away from me on Monday. But as turns out, I did not discover this tantalizing tidbit until Tuesday. He was here filming scenes for a film called "Our Lady of Victory," which is a true story about a women's basketball team in the early 70's. It also stars Carla Gugino and Ellyn Burstyn. Feel my pain, people.

Finally got a chance to watch the trailer for Sarah Connor Chronicles. I knew I was going to check it out anyway, but the point in the trailer that gave me chills was when Summer Glau said "Come with me if you want to live." Oh, yeah! I am so there. The rest of the casting doesn't do much for me off the bat, but I'm not inimical to it.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

OK, we had a bit of a Who backlog, so we watched Who 3.10 and 3.11 back to back last night.

WOW. Just, wow.

Seriously had trouble sleeping- the horrible statue faces with arms outstretched kept creeping in my brain. Loved it. So scary, so good. Sally and Larry really pulled it off. I loved the wild plays on temporal "logic" it made my brain hurt but in a good way.

Who 3.11- I heard a couple random spoilers- John Simm (though not as playing the Master) as well as the Master coming back - and it didn't matter at ALL, I still gasped when Jacobi transformed into Simm and was the Master. "Say my name!" Also, my jaw thudded to the floor when Martha saw the watch, and I loved the Doctor/Jack conversation, and I definitely agree with ita that it seemed so intimate.
