Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

What. Is. WRONG. With. People?
I really don't know. It makes me kinda sick.

(Herein lies my disclaimer that while I do fangirl people like drivers and make sketchey plans to put them in my trunk and take them home? I AM NOT REALLY GOING TO DO THAT. It's talk. And anything otherwise would be creepy. t /OffTopicy )

I think hoorifying needs to stay. Srsly.
Dean would approve. In a drunken threesome kind of way.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The Dead Zone family's been happily poly for at least a year--they put a surprisingly early kibosh on whatsername's vacillation, and ever since they told JJ who his biodad is, they've been getting along great.

I hope they traded mysteries properly. It was weird to have a season opener where they get rid of as many as 4 characters, but there you go. Now we're just down to what this case was, plus standalones.

I don't mind losing the apocalypse--I thought it really dragged down, IIRC, season before last. Too much histrionics.

I like the church guy, and how they've managed to separate the religion and the church, almost. Christianity doesn't get slammed when Purdy's not a sympathetic character, and he often rights himself using it to steady his hand.

Word. Poor guy goes to his first con (yeah?) and he meets the crazies right from the off.

Hoorifying.

What. Is. WRONG. With. People?

THIS is a reason why this is my safe fan zone. Abusing the people that entertain me. I don't think so.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Well, to make matters even more messed up, JA's in a touring production of "A Few Good Men" with Lou Diamond Phillips, and apparently the fangirls are being... difficult. Recording (audio and video) during the performance, taking pictures, etc etc.

Certainly not all of them are being disruptive, but it's clear from what I'm hearing that some are. Which is, you know, tacky, given that there are other people onstage than just JA, and other people in the audience than just SPN fans. Rude, in fact.

Art Crawl!!!

That's terrible.

May I just say, that if JA and LDP chose to do a theatrical performance in my hometown, I'm sure that all of us here would be exemplary audience members. You know, just in case they decide to take the show on the road.

Yeah. I like lj, but sometimes it scary and creepy.

Really rude and what kind of impression do you really want to give people, you know?

Yes, exactly. My zany fangirl plans to keep decorative rock stars in cages are zany fiction to distract me during bad work days. Not Real Plans, in any way, shape, or form.

I don't get what goes through That Sort of Fan's mind. How can they think that sort of behavior is acceptable?
