We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Well, to make matters even more messed up, JA's in a touring production of "A Few Good Men" with Lou Diamond Phillips, and apparently the fangirls are being... difficult. Recording (audio and video) during the performance, taking pictures, etc etc.

Certainly not all of them are being disruptive, but it's clear from what I'm hearing that some are. Which is, you know, tacky, given that there are other people onstage than just JA, and other people in the audience than just SPN fans. Rude, in fact.

Art Crawl!!!

That's terrible.

May I just say, that if JA and LDP chose to do a theatrical performance in my hometown, I'm sure that all of us here would be exemplary audience members. You know, just in case they decide to take the show on the road.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

THIS is a reason why this is my safe fan zone. Abusing the people that entertain me. I don't think so.
Yeah. I like lj, but sometimes it scary and creepy.

Really rude and what kind of impression do you really want to give people, you know?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

(Herein lies my disclaimer that while I do fangirl people like drivers and make sketchey plans to put them in my trunk and take them home? I AM NOT REALLY GOING TO DO THAT. It's talk. And anything otherwise would be creepy. )

Yes, exactly. My zany fangirl plans to keep decorative rock stars in cages are zany fiction to distract me during bad work days. Not Real Plans, in any way, shape, or form.

I don't get what goes through That Sort of Fan's mind. How can they think that sort of behavior is acceptable?

So much exactly.

I'm going to need a couple of those cages though, m'kay? Just, you know, in theory...

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Recording (audio and video) during the performance, taking pictures, etc etc.

Specifically prohibited under the Actor's Equity contracts, which I'm sure all cast members are a part of. Not to mention REALLY FUCKING RUDE, and an embarrassment to JA.

I really hate people sometimes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have only been to one convention convention, and it was for La Femme Nikita. Dana horrified me with stories about how bad it could get, and in fact Allyson hired me and friends to make sure it didn't get that bad on her watch for her parties ever again.

Let me not lie. Shutting down a rabid over-entitled fangirl from sticking her hands down a actor's pants? Would be such a high point in my week. The whole "I think [James Marsters/Andy Hallett/Daniel Dae Kim] does a bad-assed job" thing melded with "Didn't you have a mother?" was to be my angle.

As it turns out, the crazy fangirls were having their pictures taken with my security team instead. Still, they were well-trained in defending themselves. So not my problem--Allyson's goal was met.

One of them thought I was stalking Kristen and ita, but I really really wasn't.

Honest.
