Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It really does slay me as few things do. Thing is? This show has more than one moment like that for me. How is that even possible?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

The location crew picked the perfect place, too, with the infinity shot, the trees, the empty road. Just the two of them and the car in all that expanse of empty. Perfect visual metaphor.

Well, marriage and parenthood. We tag-team, and I forgot to block out 7-8 for SPN rewatching.

Ah, well. Wrote some while Lillian played with socks.

Did the Ticky keep you from the hot and angsting boys?

It reminds me a of spot on the drive from Flagstaff to Phoenix so much that I can't even try to convince my brain that it is elsewhere. Which is not just the visuals but also where it hits me emotionally, but it's *there* in my head.

Eh, I am now waiting for my mother to possibly call, and still on call with the gal.

Feh! Miss watching things!

Do we need to move the W&P back an hour or two for the second-shifters, conflicted, and parents among us?

I think I need to see that spot--but I'm unlikely ever to be on the way from Flagstaff to Phoenix. There are places like it on the Blue Ridge. And more around Mt. Baker. I have an afinity for mountains, it seems.
