I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

i'm pretty sure that's my favorite Who from this season so far. weird considering there wasn't very much Doctor. Sally Sparrow was fantastic and i would love to see her as a companion.

i'm not nearly as invested in Martha as i should be at this point, i think. still miss Rose.

next week? we finally get Captain Jack and the Doctor together again!!! YAY!!!

3.10 was fantastic. The ramp up from creepy statue to terrifying creatures with scary teeth and grabby hands - yikes.

They were not holding hands at the end - their hands were just close like that because they had been shaking the TARDIS .

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

My Doctor Who thoughts can be summed up like this: I think I want to have sex with this episode. That was the most creative, inventive story I've seen in a long time. MAD PROPS, STEVEN MOFFAT.

Also, Jon, I had the same thought you did, but ita's right.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

but ita's right.

Indeed, I'm also glad it happened the way it did. Regarding, the "if they see each other they die, that's why they usually cover their faces": I totally missed that, but it makes sense if true. Well, "makes sense" might be too strong of a phrase, but it certainly resolves things more completely.

Jon, it's not that they die; it's that they're permanently stone. They're alive forever, unable to do anything because there will always be someone looking at them. Unless someone comes down there and moves the statues.

I can't stop thinking about this episode. It's so cool.

That's not what Fiona said upthread, P-C. She said it's more permanent than what you're saying.

I don't know where she's getting that from, then.

Because books.

I don't generally watch Dr. Who, but man do I want to see this episode now. Are they rerunning it soon? (And are we talking SciFi Channel?)

Ah! Cool.

Is it on BBCAmerica right now, then? Or only on UK TV?
